About a11ybos 2016
This year’s annual event was held on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at the Cambridge IBM Innovation Center, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Moe Kraft from IBM provided a recap of the day in her blog post, Boston Accessibility – the Next Generation.
We’re very excited to welcome Brian MacDonald from National Braille Press as our keynote speaker! Brian will be talking about NBP’s new Braille smartphone.
We accommodate all special diets: gluten-free, dairy-free, low fat, vegan, vegetarian, low sodium, no meat / poultry / shellfish / pork, and peanut allergies (there will be almonds).
Email us if you need anything not listed.
Breakfast: Fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs. Coffee and tea service provided by New England INDEX.
Lunch: We’ve ordered lunch from Sebastians. We’ll have pizza (cheese, veggie, pepperoni, and buffalo), sandwiches on both rolls and lettuce wraps (roasted veggie, turkey avocado, Thai-curry chicken salad, turkey, and Romano), salads with toppings on the side (tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons, and beets).
Of course, we will have our famous vegan chili and omni chili.
We will also have desserts, snacks, soda, and water.
